A Professional Certified Coach (CPC) is a trusted guide & mentor who can help you identify and uncover what may be keeping you stuck or from reaching your fullest potential. Private coaching is a 1:1 relationship. You and the Coach engage in process to help you create what you want for yourself. Coaches are supportive and non-judgmental, and always work to your agenda, not their own.
Coaches can help you strategize and acquire the tools you need to achieve your goals. Coaching consists of steps to help you identify and reframe your thoughts and attitude, and can also help you break negative habits, acquire new methods of approaching challenges, and take positive action to achieve your maximum potential!
People from all walks of life work with professional Coaches to help attain their goals across many fronts: personal balance, relationships, career, finance, health/wellness, transition and many more.
Coaching is best for those who want to take initiative in their own life, are willing and able to do the inner and outer work required to get the results they want.
It depends! The question is really “What brings you to a Coach?”
If you’re looking for professional/career change, then coaching can help you make your current job more gratifying, you can gain better focus on managing your work, and you can market yourself more effectively.
If your reasons are personal, you can find a coach to help you improve your relationships, resolve ongoing negative behaviors, improve your overall health, and grow spirituality. Coaching can help you live a more balanced and enhanced life, and make your dreams come true!
Coaching can take you above and beyond your own capabilities by helping you think about things from unique perspectives. Coaching most often helps identify energy blocks that keep you stuck and frees up energy so you can more easily maximize your own intuition and strengths.
A lot of the time people try to drive change on their own, and may be successful. On the other hand many people are not always aware of what stands in their way; they fall back into habits and patterns that are hard to break. Coaches bring an unbiased, non-judgmental and objective perspective to help you uncover your own patterns and habits so you can create real – and sustainable – change. Coaches are your accountability partner and your champion to help keep you focused on your path to success.
Throughout the working relationship I engage in direct and personal conversations. You can count on me to be honest and straightforward in asking questions and making requests. You understand that you alone can grant the power in the coaching relationship and you agree to do just that—to have the coaching relationship be powerful.
Each session is tailored to the client and will vary based on individual needs. In the beginning, we discuss what you are committed to accomplishing through our work together and we create a plan to help you achieve your goals.
I may ask you to do work between our sessions to help direct your progress and/or build new habits. This is often where the “Real Magic” happens!
We work together to honestly and without judgment, acknowledge barriers or blocks, explore alternate perspectives and celebrate successes. At the end of each session, we revisit your agenda for the session, your overall goals, and evaluate the next steps needed to achieve these results.
Coaching is not therapy which is designed to deal with issues from your past. Coaching is about starting where you are right now and moving toward where you want to be.
Coaching is a partnership where I help you find your own solutions and strategies to meet your specific goals. I will never prescribe or devise solutions for you. I follow a Core Energy Coaching process, which is uniquely designed to increase your self-awareness and help you connect inner purpose and passion with outer goals and tasks.
Mentoring is a partnership where I may provide direct advice, tools, templates, or proven best practices to help you meet specific goals and tasks.
To experience the positive benefits and lasting change associated with a coaching program, I recommend an initial three-month commitment.
Coaching sessions are generally 1 hour, though they may be shorter, depending on where you are in your process.
It's best to clear your desk and your mind approximately 15 minutes before a session. Please silence your phone, computer, and any other devices that may distract you.
In the beginning of our coaching I recommend we meet once per week (approx 3-5 sessions). After that I've found that every other week is a great cadence; it really gives you time to absorb the great things that are happening and see them work in your every day life.
What we discuss, and/or any written material we use is held in strict confidence. As a side note, our discussions are not privileged for legal purposes; those legal rights are reserved for clergy, therapists and attorneys. That said, I assure you that your personal information, along with insights you willingly share, are gifts that I will treasure and protect.
